For the price of a $20 Raffle ticket, you can be in the running to become the proud owner of an EVolution Classic 4 Plus - 4 seater lithium-powered golf cart. And to sweeten the deal, the Lago Vista Lions Club will pay the taxes for you! That's right! Win the Cart and we'll pay the related federal income tax on your behalf.
Of course, having a chance of winning the cart is great; but just as important, your purchase of (many) raffle tickets supports the important work of the Lago Vista Lions Club in our community. From vision screening of our youth to helping to feed kids during school breaks or any of our other many program areas, the Lago Vista Lions are making a difference! Your support is the key.

Raffle Terms and Conditions
1. Sponsor
The Lago Vista Lions Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is conducting this raffle pursuant to the Texas Charitable Raffle Enabling Act. All proceeds from this raffle will support the charitable activities of the Lago Vista Lions Club.
2. Prize
One (1) winner will receive an EVolution Classic Plus Golf Cart from Cart Castle in Liberty Hill, featuring a lithium-ion battery TAX FREE (see below). The total prize value is $6,795 PLUS payment of federal income tax on behalf of the winner. The prize includes manufacturer’s warranties but otherwise is awarded “as is” with no other implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
3. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of ticket purchase. Members of the Lago Vista Lions Club and their immediate family members are eligible to purchase tickets and win the raffle. The raffle is void where prohibited by law.
4. Ticket Purchase
Raffle tickets are available for purchase at designated locations and events. Each ticket represents one entry into the drawing. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
5. Drawing
The winning ticket will be drawn on June 7, 2025, at 8:30 PM at K-Oaks Clubhouse, 7000 Bar-K Ranch Road, Lago Vista, Texas 78645. The drawing will be conducted in a fair and impartial manner. Winner need not be present to win.
6. Notification of Winner
The winner will be notified by phone and/or email based on the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. The winner must respond within 14 days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within the specified timeframe, an alternate winner will be drawn.
7. Prize Delivery & Taxes
The prize is awarded to one lucky winner TAX FREE. That is, the Lago Vista Lions club will pay the required federal income tax of the prize on behalf of the winner. No Texas sales tax is due. The winner is responsible for applicable title, and registration fees associated with the prize. The winner must pick up the prize in Lago Vista, Texas at a prearranged date and place or arrange for transportation at their own expense.
8. Liability & Indemnification
By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Lago Vista Lions Club, its officers, directors, members, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or injuries arising from or related to participation in the raffle or use of the prize. Beyond the manufacturer’s warranties which are conveyed to the winner as part of the prize, the Lago Vista Lions Club makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties, express or implied, regarding the golf cart.
9. Compliance with Laws
This raffle is conducted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. The Lago Vista Lions Club reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is found to be in violation of these rules or applicable laws.
10. Publicity Release
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the Lago Vista Lions Club to use their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. General Conditions
The Lago Vista Lions Club reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the raffle in the event of fraud, technical failure, or other circumstances beyond its control. Any disputes shall be resolved by the Lago Vista Lions Club Board of Directors, whose decisions shall be final.
