Lion?
As a Lions club member, you can:
Make a difference everyday in your community. Whether it is providing support locally or reaching out internationally, you will have an opportunity to serve.
- Be a part of a worldwide organization carrying out community
and humanitarian projects. Members allow Lions clubs worldwide
to carry out its many community and humanitarian programs.
- Grow personally and professionally by participating in our programs, community service projects and events.
- Gain an understanding and have an impact on local and international humanitarian issues.
- Join Lions and meet a whole group of great people
- Be involved in our service/fundraising projects and finally be able to give something back to your community
- Have access to membership discounts and services.

Club Information:
- chartered in 1980 by the Austin Lions Founders club
- has 85+ members, both men and women, singles and couples, young and old
- has meetings twice monthly on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays; one meeting conducts abbreviated business while the second has an interesting speaker
- members have a financial obligations of $37.50 semi-annual dues with second family member at a discount and a one time registration fee of $25.00

Charitable Information:
- is involved both financially and physically at Texas Lions Camp for Disabled Children in Kerrville
- does local road clean-up bi-monthly
- brings Blood Mobile to CVS parking lot bi-monthly
- hosts annual FREE Lions Health Fair
- has outstanding committee to collect and recycle used eyeglasses and also gives eye exams and eyeglasses to needy children
- has Green Team recycling committee collecting used cell phones and printer ink jets
- provides scholarships to graduating Lago Vista seniors sponsors a Leo Club (young peoples Lions Club with high school and some middle schoolers eligible to join)
